Dear Ms. Boyle,
This term, I am striving for a solid A in your class. I am determined to do whatever it takes in order to achieve success. In order to reach my goal I will have perfected my writing style so that, when read, there will be only a few, if any, mistakes. My comprehension of literature will have grown and so, as a result, will my love for books of any size, shape, and genre. The A I am striving for will not come easy, but my hard work and tenacity will surely help me get there, along with a great teacher to point me in the right direction, should I stray from my path.
